A2. Art Bleek - Immigrant - SHV004 by Sharivari Records

Been a long time since we wanted to talk about this label, well, today it's their day. And with what's left over of our patriotism, we allow ourselves to scream, COCORICO! Because this label is French, based in St-Etienne more exactly.
So here is the (cool) picture: behind Sharivari Recordings, a name: Olivier Mutschler aka Mush, behind this man: a producer, behind this producer: a DJ. On the clock: several excellent remixes, from Kai Alce to Chez Damier and going around Juan Atkins. So you may ask "ok, fine, but whatelse?", well from our stricken and formatted "Fluo Kid" musical landscape, it is necessary to applause this type of personage vital to the survival of the French Techno species. Totally committed in between House and Techno and underlined by a heavy Detroit influence, the selection of the signed artists are tough, we name the admirable Kink and Art Bleek.
Here is a preview and an exclusitivity for Silence Magazine, Art Bleek and his track "Immigrant" from his forthcoming Immigrant EP, out January 31st.
