RON TRENT-THE NATURE OF RETRIBUTION 1995
GRAND HIGH PRIEST-MARY MARY
Time to party!
Before flying back to Paris, I'd like to send you solar energy, make you jump and dance to this pure house-broken beat track coming from one the original house Chicago pioneer. Let me introduce you to Craig S.Loftis aka Grand High Priest. Out in 2006, "Mary Mary" mixes in an atypic way drums, a heavy bass maintained by a Strictly House fundamental. But the quintessence of this records borns out of the use of Aretha Franklin's sample "Mary don't you weep"from the "Amazing Grace"album(1972). Time to party!

IN SYNC-STORM 1992
The following comment comes from Lee In Sync himself, on the music released on "Storm":
"There are only 4 instruments in the track - all Roland, 2 SH-101s, 1 TR-808 and 1 TR-909. There was no hardware sequencer either. Everything was synched using the drum machine triggers. The notes were recorded on the SH-101 onboard sequencers, so the tune was very limited. Also, one of the SH-101s was not working properly. I could not record the same note twice in the sequencer for some reason. You can't really set up a more basic studio than I used for that track. The track was a production nightmare in reality. I am surprised it ever made it to vinyl. There is tape noise on the recording where the cassette deck level was way to low. But....it does sound like rain. It all went wrong but ended up right it seems".
Seule conclusion: Less is more!
I can't describe better the story of this all time classic techno. I just wanted to re-give a highlight on this one. The only conclusion: Less is more!

FOUR TET-LOVE CRY
Another track which can be a perfect mix to the sound of waves and to the boat's foghorn. A real extension of the sun rays.

ACTRESS- HUBBLE
Taking advantage of a sunny and delicate day in the south of France to introduce you to this weightlessness track. Here is Actress alias Darren J.Cunningham who's out with the album "Splazsh" on Honest Jon's Records. I turned my attention to the "Hubble" track. 8.5 floating atmospheric minutes sustained by few dub-step notes which take its whole dimension during a summer stay by the water.
